Your body deserves this.

Your EOS fitness membership may only cost what you’d pay for a burger over at Raglan, but you’re not going to get the same results.

Yes, Indie Yoga is my go-to for a mindful bendy morning, but you’re not going to get the same results.

You can buy a pair of sneakers and walk up and down Narragansett 100 times, but you’re not going to get the same results.

What results am I talking about?

Strength. Community. Support.

STRENGTH
45 minute classes. You can do ANYTHING for 45 minutes. It’s over just as the endorphins are flooding through your body so you can leave sweaty, satisfied and accomplished.

I’m proud to say my pushups about 8 weeks ago looked a lot more like I was trying to do the caterpillar dance… all wiggly and squiggly. Now, I’m holding planks without my belly button hitting the floor and squatting like it’s my second job.

Work outs are a combo of HIIT, Weights and Yoga to keep it interesting. Working your way around the gym to different stations keeps your mind focused and your muscles firing. With encouragement from the teachers and your classmates you’ll do the few extra squats you wouldn’t have done if you were on your own.

COMMUNITY
It’s like Cheers (where everybody knows your name) but with more kettle balls and less Gentleman’s Jack. Making friends with the class is easy, we’re often grouped up, partnered up or just asking for someone to help peel you off the floor.  You won’t find that at a regular gym when you’re taking selfies with your headphones on. But feel free to squeeze one in on your way out if that’s your jam.  Since many of the other gym goers live in OB, you’re likely to run into them outside of class allowing you to bridge the gap between class and real life.

The only tricky part is there’s no “open hours” so you need to make a commitment to hit one of the calendared sessions.
